There are regions of the world where the Gospel remains largely absent from the daily lives of millions of people.

These are the places where LUZ 404 seeks to direct missionary attention, financial support, and operational resources.

Selection Criteria

The IDE is an internal framework developed by LUZ 404 to compare mission fields based on the real challenges of evangelization.

We evaluate missionary projects according to factors that reflect both the difficulty of Gospel outreach and the level of access a population has to Christianity.

Missions in Southeast Asia

At present, the primary mission field supported by LUZ 404 is located in Southeast Asia, a region that includes some of the world's most challenging environments for Christian mission work.

The projects we support address a variety of ongoing ministry needs, including:

In recent years, missionaries supported by LUZ 404 have also participated in humanitarian relief and community assistance in areas affected by crises and regional instability, including emergency response following natural disasters that directly impacted vulnerable communities in Southeast Asia.

These efforts included basic humanitarian aid, community support, and operational assistance for missionaries who remained in the affected regions during the most difficult periods.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you have a physical headquarters or a larger institutional structure?

Not at this time. Our priority is directing resources toward missionary work rather than organizational infrastructure. While a larger institutional structure may be part of our future, it also brings increased administrative responsibilities, operating costs, and ongoing organizational management. At this stage, we believe our resources are best invested in advancing the mission itself.

At present, our primary mission field is located in Southeast Asia due to the region's significant evangelistic challenges and the missionary partnerships we have already established there.

However, many other parts of the world also face limited access to the Gospel, a lack of Christian discipleship, and significant barriers to sustained missionary work. As LUZ 404 continues to grow and strengthen its organizational capacity, we hope to evaluate opportunities to support additional mission fields in a manner consistent with our operational capabilities.

No. While proclaiming the Gospel is at the heart of our mission, we believe that Christian ministry among unreached peoples also includes discipleship, strengthening local Christian communities, providing practical support, fostering spiritual growth, and sustaining a long-term Christian witness in challenging environments.

In many contexts, supporting a missionary, strengthening a small local church, or enabling ongoing discipleship is itself a vital part of advancing the mission. For this reason, the projects we support often address operational and human needs that extend beyond simply distributing evangelistic materials.

No. We do not see missionary work as a substitute for the local church, but as an extension of the Christian calling to reach peoples, cultures, and regions where access to the Gospel remains severely limited.

We believe the local church plays a central role in spiritual formation, discipleship, and sending missionaries. Specialized mission organizations, in turn, can contribute by providing operational focus, financial support, and strategic direction for specific mission fields.

Because we believe that missionary work among unreached peoples cannot always be measured through public statistics, numerical growth, or highly detailed reports.

In addition to operational security considerations, many mission contexts require qualitative evaluation, long-term observation, and cultural understanding that cannot be adequately reflected through simplified metrics alone.

This does not lessen our commitment to accountability or responsible stewardship. Rather, it shapes how certain information is shared publicly.
